My name is Nester Namunaba a mother to a sickle cell warrior Rodney Manyonge who was in high school in Kisumu County. My son has suffered so much with sickle cell disease which was diagnosed when he was 7yrs. I have struggled with him till day one. We came across Mr. Chirag ( founder of Parishay Healthcare) through a word-of-mouth referral when still following up on the Brain Aneurysm treatment for my mother – Valentine Nzioki within the Kenyan Hospitals.

The meeting was scheduled, and he patiently took us through the assistance he can offer and how to go about each process.

• He linked us to the Neurosurgeon Dr. Saroha who came to Kenya to have a face-to-face consult and diagnosis with Valentine (patient)
• Assisted in getting all the local medical clearance letters from the Ministry of Health and the Neurosurgeon in charge from the medical board, NHIF plus Airline consent letters.
• Hastened the Visa application process had a very short turnaround time
• Ensured we had all vaccination certificates in check – COVID and yellow fever plus Polio
• Return Plane tickets were booked at very good rates and worked with our budgets
• Arranged for pick up and accommodation upon arriving in India – this was a seamless process

Upon arriving in Hospital we were received by the team who assisted the admission to the hospital and held our hand through the whole process till surgery and recovery was done. We all appreciated the constant check in that was done by the team on the ground especially by Kanika and Chirag while they were in Kenya, they ensured that the bills were in check and we were staying comfortably.

When all was done, the return back also needed clearance from the hospital and Airport, this was also handled by the same team.

We got all the letters done by the time, the patient was clearing the last hospital check-up.

To take you back to the stay in India, the services at the Hospital were very straightforward and the doctors and Nurses were very good at communicating the progress and procedures to be done. Step by step detailed description was provided and this aided in making important decisions in regard to the treatment. All medications stated could be provided by the hospital without the hustle and the sufficient provision for three months was carried home after discharge.

In Kenya, after the treatment, Mr. Chirag was able to schedule follow-up check-ins with Dr. Saroha that were also done in person which is the preferred approach with any patient.

In summary, the customer/patient services were exemplary and I do recommend Parishay Healthcare Services with a heartbeat.

On 22nd November 2022, I travelled to India to have surgery on my left hip. The operation was very successful and I was walking on the following day after surgery. The operation was done by Dr. Ashwani Maichand. I was discharged on the third day having recuperated so well.

All my travel arrangements and documentation were facilitated by Parishay Healthcare. They were of great help as I obtained all the travel documents at the comfort of my home within two weeks. They also arranged to pick me up to and from New Delhi airport.

The treatment journey to India commenced well in 2020, from the beginning until the completion of the stay in India. Local coordination in Kenya was arranged by the members (Chirag and Kanika) now known as Parishay Healthcare.

The hospital’s International team picked us up from the airport to the apartment on arrival for the treatment of my son Darius Reece in coordination with the team in Kenya. We were introduced to the lead Doctor, Dr. Pravas. Treatment commences immediately after running the necessary test. The staff was hospitable and up to the task of ensuring the welfare of the patient come first. The transplant was done by the brother who was a matching donor which was successful. The doctor was kind and could respond immediately to any question, also guided us throughout the entire treatment journey. We finished our stay in India and came back to Kenya where we kept in touch with the doctor on WhatsApp until today he still responds to any question. As a family, we are grateful to God and the whole team.

The Parishay team also assisted us in having a follow-up done with Dr. Pravas in Kenya.

My daughter was suffering from a very severe and complex spine deformity called scoliosis which was made worse by having lost my second-born daughter to a similar condition after surgery.

Chirag and his team (Parishay Healthcare) based in Nairobi made Clara’s treatment journey successful by finding us an expert who specialized in the treatment of scoliosis, Dr. Hitesh Garg.

The treatment plan was laid by the doctor, which started with traction for one month followed by two successful surgeries. As Dr. Hitesh explained, my daughter’s case was a unique case out of the thousands of cases he had attended to. It was quite complex and risky.

I thank all the teams starting with the Nairobi office, the Indian team, and Dr. Hitesh and his team for the successful completion of my daughter’s surgery.
